We are designers and thinkers who value the transformative role of ideas and the capacity for architecture to inspire.
Zeal Wilkes brings architecture, planning and interior design together. From private homes to places where communities gather, we explore how thoughtful design can enrich everyday life.
A delight in the handling of material, space and light.
Our work begins with the brief, site and context. We avoid a fixed style, allowing each project to develop its own character through a careful consideration of space, proportion, materials and detail.
Places shaped by the people who use them.
Homes, restaurants, workplaces and community buildings each ask different things of design. We consider the activities, experiences and connections that will give a place its purpose.
Architecture considered from the inside out.
We bring together spatial planning, material selection and bespoke detail to create interiors with a strong sense of place. Practical use and craftsmanship inform the design at every scale.
From an initial idea to the next clear step.
We work with clients and specialist consultants to develop the design and navigate the project’s requirements. The agreed appointment sets out our role, the scope of services and the stages of support.
