Highfields Urban Roof Garden is a proposed green rooftop space designed to transform underused roof areas into a vibrant, accessible and sustainable community environment. Located within the densely urbanised area of Highfields, the project aims to create much needed open green space where people can gather, relax and connect.

The design introduces planting, seating and flexible outdoor areas, creating a peaceful urban retreat for visitors, centre users and the wider community. The roof garden also provides opportunities for community planting and growing local vegetables, helping to make the centre more vibrant, active and connected to the people it serves while supporting biodiversity, wellbeing and future environmental improvements.
