We were commissioned to provide interior design services for An-Noor Mosque, a local mosque in Leicester. The brief was to create a calm and welcoming prayer environment through the careful selection of materials, finishes and a colour palette that harnesses a sense of solitude, reflection and spiritual focus.

The interior scheme combines soft neutral tones, warm timber elements, patterned detailing and subtle lighting to create a peaceful atmosphere for worship. Key areas of the mosque were carefully considered, including the mihrab, prayer hall, wall features and bespoke joinery, ensuring the design felt both contemporary and respectful of traditional Islamic influences.

The overall proposal provides a fresh and refined interior that enhances the existing mosque, creating a serene space for the local community to gather, pray and reflect.
